T1W5, Monday

Came in late today missed the details about the drawing assignment this week. Finished one practice pose for character design. Started practicing the character for Animation Principles 2. Should remember that the focus of this assessment is in the self critique rather than the quality of the animation.

T1W4, Friday

Finished the layout for shot 2. Started the layout for shot 1. Characters were well rendered enough in the thumbnail that I only had to trace it at a higher resolution except for Enn. Most of the work for this layout will be in sketching and rendering the background.

T1W4, Thursday

Almost finished first layout drawing. Still need to add an additional pose for Cee and if I have time to fix up Enn's hands a bit more.

T1W4, Tuesday

Did some thumbnailing this morning. Struggled with trying to draw the mannequin from a higher angle. Spent most of the computer class alternating between tanglefootcomic.tumblr.com and Google Art Project. Suspect that I am kind of burned out due to missing a couple of deadlines and trying to catch up. Will get some proper rest tonight and see if that improves things tomorrow.

T1W4, Monday

Started Layout assignment and am basing the two layouts on Shot 1 and Shot 2 from the storyboarding assignment. Shot 1 will have a more rendered background. Shot 2 will focus more on character movement. Am currently working on Shot 1. Still having confidence issues but the fact that so many others are falling behind reminds me that everyone is dealing with similar emotions.

T1W3, Friday

Finished first draft of storyboards. Still need to add facial expressions, adjust the sizes of the characters relative to each other, and redo the shots after the wine glass breaks. If I run out of time I will at least have something semi-complete to hand in.

Making slow progress on storyboard refinement and still have four and half panels to clean up before checking them with Nige and Dan.
